Open Letter to Hon. Benjamin Kalu – Ugochukwu Ubani

Dear Hon. Benjamin Kalu,
We are disappointed with your accolades directed towards President Tinubu regarding the monthly federal statutory allocations to Abia State. With all due respect, these funds are not a special gift but rather the state’s rightful share, similar to what every other state in Nigeria receives.
Governor Alex Otti’s impressive achievements stem from his remarkable credentials and commitment to restoring Abia to a path of development. His leadership has brought significant progress to the state, independent of the president’s initiatives.
As the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, you have the right to champion President Tinubu’s accolades. However, it is essential to acknowledge that Governor Otti’s progress is a result of his own efforts, not special favors from the presidency.
We urge caution in dismissing differing opinions regarding Governor Otti’s governance, as his reputation has grown rapidly. It is crucial to recognize the impact of his leadership on the people of Abia State.
Sincerely,
Ugochukwu Ubani
